Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Jyoti Diagnostic, we are committed to providing reliable and transparent laboratory testing services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, refunds, and payment-related matters for bookings made through our website.

By booking a laboratory test with us, you agree to this policy.


1. Cancellation of Bookings

Patients may request to cancel a laboratory test booking before the scheduled sample collection or appointment time.

Cancellation requests should be made as early as possible by contacting our customer support through phone or email.


2. Cancellation After Sample Collection

Once the sample has been collected by our laboratory staff, the booking cannot be cancelled, as the testing process may have already commenced.

No refund will be issued after successful sample collection.


3. Home Sample Collection

If a home sample collection appointment cannot be completed due to reasons such as:

  • Incorrect address provided
  • Patient unavailable at the scheduled time
  • Incorrect contact information
  • Lack of access to the collection location

Jyoti Diagnostic reserves the right to reschedule the appointment or cancel the booking based on operational feasibility.


4. Online Payment Refunds

If an eligible refund is approved, the amount will be processed through the original mode of payment whenever possible.

Refunds are generally processed within 7 to 10 business days, depending on the payment provider or your bank.

Please note that the actual credit of the refunded amount may vary based on your bank’s processing timelines.


5. Duplicate Payments

If you are charged more than once for the same booking due to a technical error or payment gateway issue, please contact us immediately with the transaction details.

After verification, any excess amount received will be refunded to the original payment method.


6. Failed Transactions

If your payment fails but the amount is debited from your account:

  • Please wait for confirmation from your bank or payment provider.
  • In many cases, failed transactions are automatically reversed by the bank.
  • If the amount is successfully received by Jyoti Diagnostic without a valid booking, the payment will be verified and refunded where applicable.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following circumstances:

  • Sample has already been collected.
  • Laboratory testing has already commenced.
  • Incorrect information was provided by the patient that affected service delivery.
  • The patient fails to be available at the scheduled collection time without prior notice.
  • Services have been successfully completed.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

Jyoti Diagnostic reserves the right to consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in exceptional situations, including:

  • Technical errors caused by our systems.
  • Service cancellation initiated by Jyoti Diagnostic.
  • Duplicate or incorrect payments verified by our team.

The decision of Jyoti Diagnostic regarding refund eligibility shall be final.
